Beingness a huge MC Romance lover, and a lawyer, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to see how ii people, from such completely contrary sides of the track,might meet and fall in love. And boy, am I glad I did! I loved the chemistry between this unlikely duo! The writing is likewise excellent, and I enjoyed getting to meet the eclectic bandage of secondary characters who will no doubt class the basis for future books in the Lost Kings MC series. The concluding thing Hope Kendall envisioned when she walked into court for a civil affair was that she would accept her arm twisted past the judge into representing a big, smooth talking, "sexy in the most obscene and dangerous mode", biker on a small possession charge. When Rochlan "Stone" North, the President of the Lost Kings MC, insists on taking her to lunch to show his appreciation, Hope is left with no choice simply to say yes. To her surprise, it becomes instantly articulate that she feels an allure for Rock, ane which is clearly mutual, just all the same can never happen. You see, non but is Hope a directly-laced girl, and Rock is well . . . a biker who runs a strip club, and conspicuously must deal in illegal things; but she is also happily married. Never i to attach strictly to rules, Stone would be willing to overlook the little fact of Promise'due south wedlock to become his fix of the girl who has quickly become an obsession for him; but, in the end, when he realizes how committed she is to her ethics, he settles for having her as his MC'southward lawyer. That is, until danger strikes.So fate further intervenes, and all bets are off. Rock knows he is claiming Hope, and it is just a thing of time; but will Promise agree?Wow, what a story! What in the beginning seems impossible, ends upwardly existence the only possible reality! I loved Stone's protective nature and how he admires Promise'south intelligence, and is constantly trying to build her up. On the spectrum of MC romances, I would say this is on the lighter and sweeter side and definitely a neat volume, not but for MC romance lovers, simply too for anyone who is thinking of trying this sub-genre. Loved it. I'g a sucker for a bad male child's soft side. Jax Teller from Sons of Anarchy happens to be my favorite character ever and this whole book is chock full of Jax vibes. Some of the script was a little besides unrealistic just I enjoyed the storyline even so.
